Fun with bears...of all sorts!

This over the past week or so, we've had some fun with bears (not real ones of course 😏). The first is our representations of various types of governments including direct democracy, representative democracy, theocracy, monarchy, oligarchy and anarchy...can you guess which is which?? Here are some photos of our work: The second work we did, this time with bears of the gummy variety, was to test the effect of osmosis using various solutions. In the photo, the regular bear (orange) is being compared to bears that were submerged in distilled water (green) and sugar water (red). We found that all of the bears grew in the various solutions, except the salt water bear (not pictured) which shrank and became sort of hard!
