WEEK OF APR. 26-30

 Homework overdue:

  • Français - Passé, Présent, Futur worksheet; Earth Day booklet; Indicateurs Temporels worksheet
  • English - Mystery newspaper article + planning booklet; Earth Day opinion response
  • Sci. Hum. - PSA video + planning document (2 groups still have to hand this work in!); Identity Map
  • Sci. Nat. - Mixtures experiment, Solutions experiment
  • Art - name in perspective drawing

**We will begin regular outdoor learning this week for the rest of the school year. We will be headed out into the community every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon (occasional Wednesdays or Fridays as well!) as long as it's not raining; Tuesdays will also be reserved for day-long bike trips every couple weeks. We will also be using outdoor spaces in the school yard as much as possible for those days that we remain in the building. An email will follow with more information.

  • Math - all algebra unit worksheets are due today (they will be collected as a packet); starting new unit today (la forme et l'espace)
  • PAA - floorplans and design logs due today from every group; presentations begin during P4

  • Outdoor Learning @ Buena Vista Park (1:35-3:15pm)
    • Novel, Nature Journal, Writing notebook/folder needed
    • Clipboard, sit-upon, backpack, water bottle/snack required as well

  • Art - video perspective lesson during P3
  • PAA - last day of presentations during P4
  • Sci. Hum. - finish "Je suis et aussi je suis" activity in class

  • Outdoor Learning @ River Landing (1:15pm-3:15pm)
    • Leaving after Day 5 poetry response is complete
    • Group observation activity

  • PAA - beginning a new unit on coding
    • Students should bring headphones/earbuds
  • Reading - completing "Story Cube" activity with illustrated fiction books
  • Writing - everyone should be starting revision on one piece of writing with a partner
