 Homework overdue:

• Math - all algebra worksheets (expressions, simplifying expressions, 1-step equations); evaluation assignments on Google Classroom; creating and using a table of values worksheet
• Français - Verbes de l'indicatif worksheet; Verbes de l'impératif worksheets; Passé, Présent, Futur worksheet; first 2 pages of Earth Day booklet
• English - Mystery newspaper article + planning booklet
• Sci. Hum. - PSA video + planning document (only 2 groups have handed this work in!); rough copy of Identity Map
• Sci. Nat. - Mixtures experiment results and reflection questions
• Art - name in perspective drawing

We will be discussing and celebrating "Earth Day" all week. I would like to encourage all students to make sure to have their water bottles to avoid using disposable cups, try to walk or bike to school if possible and to bring waste free lunches and snacks to reduce garbage! 🌎

*We will be beginning our Art rotation with Mme Olfert! New seating plan in am.

Mon. Apr. 19

• English - Figurative Language sorts activity and reference sheet to complete in class
• Sci. Nat. - last day to complete "Identity Map" in class
• French - correction of Passé, Présent, Futur worksheet in class; students should be starting revision of at least one piece of writing for Writer's Workshop

Tues. Apr. 20

• AM RECESS - homework catch-up time
• Careers - new economy positions will be decided today, make sure job applications are complete BEFORE class
• French - finish page 3 & 4 of Earth Day booklet for discussion tomorrow
• Bienêtre - "Consent" lesson and activity to complete in class
• Sci. Nat. - Solutions experiment beginning in class, to complete on Thursday

Wed. Apr. 21

• AM RECESS - homework catch-up time
• English - Earth Day reading response and opinion writing to complete in class
• French - working at Rotary Park between lunch and pm recess (weather permitting)
• Reading, Grammar, Earth Day activities, Writing
• Please be sure to have the following:
• Back pack for materials
• Clipboard
• Sit-upon
• Water bottle
• Snack (if required)
• Weather appropriate and comfortable clothes
• Sci. Hum. - beginning "I am but I am" activity in class

Thurs. Apr. 22

• Earth Day!! 🌎 - assembly at 12:50pm
• PAA - extra period to finish house design and prepare presentations
• Math - graphing evaluation at the beginning of class today; all unit worksheets need to be finished, corrected and handed-in by MONDAY
• Bienêtre - wrapping up "Consent" activities and discussion (if time permits after assembly)
• Sci. Nat. - last class to finish "Solutions" experiment and hand-in experiment responses

Fri. Apr. 23

• PAA - final class to finish house design and prepare presentations
• Presentations will be Monday-Wednesday during the period right after lunch
• Art - Landscape one-point perspective video lesson
• Outdoor activity - last period (weather permitting), please be dressed for the weather!
