  Homework overdue:

  • Français - any grammar sheet not yet handed-in (check homework board); sculpture garden story
  • English - Poetry Gameboard; "Go Show the World" activities
  • Sci. Nat. - Nature Journal activities (weir landscape drawing, team observation activity)
  • Art - Name in Perspective drawing; landscape perspective activities
  • Math - algebra unit evaluation; week 1-3 geometry work
  • PAA - "Animate a Name" and "Design your own Google logo" coding projects

Mon. May 24

  • No school for staff or students
Tues. May 25
  • Bike Trip to Diefenbaker Park (WEATHER PERMITTING)
    • If it's raining in the morning, we will not be biking; if the rain stops overnight, make sure you have a SIT-UPON so you can comfortably sit if the ground is still wet
    • We are leaving at 10am and will return to the school by 3:20pm
    • Please look through the itinerary (sent home with your student and through email) for a materials/equipment list
    • If your student is NOT attending, please email me; there will be alternative activities
  • The week's schedule may be altered if we're not off campus Tuesday!
Wed. May 26
  • Math - wrap-up day 1 for geometry unit
    • Make sure all online activities are finished and submitted
    • Complete all "mini-tasks" on paper and hand in to Mme
  • Band - 10:45am --> last one!
  • Sci. Hum. - work period for "Where I'm From" poem good copy
Thurs. May 27
  • Math - wrap-up day 2 for geometry unit (final class time)
    • All math work needs to be complete and submitted by MAY 30
  • Writing - work period to complete writing pieces or continue revision
    • Students should be reviewing AT LEAST their second writing piece
    • Make sure that a writing checklist (appropriate for type of writing) and a 6+1 characteristics chart follows EACH piece of writing
    • Writing pieces (2 French, 1 English) due by June 4th
